Ardlui, Loch Lomond , has a railway station which runs from Queen Street train station and ends in either Oban or Fort William. Ardlui is a little hamlet.

Balmaha , Loch Lomond is a tiny little hamlet popular with Glaswegians on day trips on a glorious sunny day bringing with them their picnics. Balmaha is also a well known part of the West Highland Way which is popular with walkers. Visitors can take trips on boats which leave the shores of Balmaha set for the island of Inchcailloch.
